CR Visser Transport has been a major role player in the general transport arena for the past 20 years. The company, established in 1991 has gone from strength to strength, starting out as an owner operated business, it has grown into the sophisticated multi million Rand business that it is today. The transport of general goods makes up the bulk of the company’s work. We proudly hold exclusive contracts with major client companies which are listed on the JSE.
Over the recent years, we have also successfully ventured into the Hazardous Chemicals Transport Industry in order to diversify the company’s expertise in the transport industry as a whole. In the process, we have become the sole line-haul supplier to one of the country’s largest Hazchem Distributors. In order to comply with regulations in this highly specialized field, the company has complied and been certified as an ISO-9001 Standard compliant company.
CR Visser Transport has Golden Service Plans for each and every vehicle within its fleet which now predominantly comprises of Volvo Trucks. 24 hr around the clock maintenance support is available from the dealer in case of a breakdown, which is seldom due to our very strict maintenance policies. The company also has an onsite Tyre supplier ensuring every day that the vehicles wheels are in good shape and if not are immediately replaced with new ones.
CR Visser is quite technology orientated in terms of monitoring of the vehicles as well as driver performances. We have state of the art gadgets such as tracking devices, cameras, wireless fuelling systems as well as truck mobile phones installed on every unit. This ensures close monitoring of each unit’s movement on a real time basis.
Our continuously improving safety programs are not only for the employees on the road but also within our premises. Our company is compliant with all statutory acts in terms of Health and Safety via an SLA with a reputable consultant.
